Different species. The same biological need: oxygen.

“We be of one blood, ye and I.” This line from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book expresses the shared responsibility behind our initiative: respect for life across species.

One Oxygen. One Health. One Shared Future.

This is an independent BHOC message of support for WWF's free ecard initiative. It does not imply a formal partnership or WWF endorsement of BHOC.

BHOC Veterinary Therapeutics, also known as BHOC Vet, is led by Archil Jaliashvili. The BHOC Species & Biodiversity Protection Initiative connects oxygen delivery science with the future of animal health and species protection.

Our foundation is comparative biology: different species have different blood group systems, yet most vertebrates share hemoglobin-based oxygen transport. We explore how this foundation can inform species-specific research and development.
